Day One and Two: 8:30 – 4:30 (with an hour for lunch)

8:30 Classroom

12:00 lunch

1:00 Pool lab

4:30 End of course

Wear comfortable clothes for classroom participation. Bring your swim suit, towel, and photo ID for pool lab.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund of the course registration fee, less $50 administrative fee, will be granted upon receipt of a written request postmarked on or before 30 days before the first day of the course. Cancellations by the attendee less than 30 days from the first day of the course are not eligible for any refund.

DESCRIPTION

This two-day course is intended for the physical, occupational, and speech therapists and assistants who currently work in the aquatic environment towards functional changes in clients through the lifespan with neurological challenges. It is highly recommended that the participant have prior education and experience in therapeutic aquatics as minimal review will be included. Emphasis will be placed on experiential learning in the pool and clinical analysis using video tape and demonstration.
