Pamela Mullens PT., PhD received her physical therapy education in England. She received an M Ed Degree in Educational psychology (specializing in Human development and socialization) and a PhD in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Washington. The topic of her dissertation was, temperament in young children with cerebral palsy and its relationship to stress in mothers. Pam is a clinical Assistant professor in the PT curriculum at the University of Washington,and also teaches in the pediatric Doctor of Science program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo Utah. She is in private practice in Seattle Wash providing therapy to children with developmental disabilities and adults with neurological impairments. She is certified in Aston Patterning. Pam received her basic training in NDT from Dr and Mrs Bobath in Milwaukee, and her instructor training in London, England. She is an instructor in both pediatrics and adult hemiplegia, and has taught extensively in the US and internationally. She received the Award of Excellence from NDTA in 1994, and the distinguished mentorship award from the Pediatric Section of the American Physical Association in 2000.
