Susan Breznak-Honeychurch, PT has 29 years of experience in the treatment of individuals who are physically challenged. She received her undergraduate degree from Hope College and attended Northwestern University Medical School for her degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings including home-based, hospitals, schools, and clinical programs, including Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and the Orthopedic Institute Hospital for Joint Disease in New York City, where she was the Team Leader for the Neuromuscular Department’s Preschool and Assistant Chief of Pediatric Physical Therapy. Presently, Ms. Breznak-Honeychurch is general partner and Clinical Coordinator for new Directions Child and Family Associates, LLPC in Dunkirk. She is a Coordinator-Instructor for the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association teaching the 8-week Basic Pediatric Course in Cerebral Palsy and The Advanced Baby Course. She is an internationally recognized lecturer in pediatrics, has taught numerous courses throughout the country, maintains a limited private practice, and is a consultant to programs, schools, and agencies in Western New York. Ms. Breznak-Honeychurch in a past New York State representative (NYPTA) to the American Physical Therapy Association’s Pediatric Section. She is also a member of the New York State Department of Health’s Motor Disorders Panel working to determine evidenced based, best practice for infants requiring early intervention.
