Instructor Profile
| Kay Folmar, PT-CI, attended Furman University and the University of South Alabama receiving a BA in Psychology and a BS in Physical Therapy. Her twenty nine years of work and experience in rehabilitation include many treatment environments and levels of recovery including acute care hospitals, acute rehabilitation centers, outpatient clinics, home health, and post-acute residential centers. She completed her basic NDT training in 1983 and is currently recognized by NDTA, Inc. as a Coordinator-Instructor in adult hemiplegia. Kay has served as chair of the Instructor Group of NDTA and served on the NDTA Board of Directors. In addition to conducting NDT training courses throughout the U.S., Kay has a private practice in Palm Desert, CA serving patients with chronic neuromotor dysfunction. |
