Welcome to your Regions Committee Page!2012-03-13 Welcome to the regions page of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association. Twelve (12) regions have been identified by NDTA to help you connect with members in your area, find courses to meet your needs and promote NDT.
Your regions committee serves as your link to NDTA. We are a resource network that provides initiatives to meet the needs of the therapeutic community and enhances the communication between NDTA and membership.
We welcome your questions, ideas, and opinions and look forward to meeting you at a conference or course. What Region am I in?2012-03-13 Region States/Providences

Region Committee Members2012-03-13 The region committee members serve NDTA for a period of 3 years and are a part of an active and dedicated group of members who attend monthly conference calls in addition to an annual face-to-face meeting at an NDTA conference.
The REGION committee members are involved with connecting members to the organization. They may assist local contacts, identify NDT course sites/sponsors, encourage membership, welcome new members and perform other duties as requested by the board of directors.

Conference Region Get-Together!2012-03-13 Please be sure to join us on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 7-8:30 for our Region Get Together. It is a great time to relax, meet other attendees and find out about what is happening in your region and your organization. Refreshments will be provided. Below are pictures from the May 2011 conference in New York. We look forward to seeing you in Anaheim this May! Study Groups2012-03-13 A “study group” is a collection of individuals, in our case OT, PT and Speech therapists, who gather together regularly as determined by the group, to improve their understanding of a subject, in our case NDT theory, principles and practice, by participating in a focused discussion or hands-on facilitation sessions. Click on the link below to find out more about how you can start a group in your area. If you are intersted in more information, please contact your region committee representative. Local Contacts2012-03-13 Local contacts are NDTA members who facilitate communication between regions committee members and NDTA members living in a designated geographical level. They are appointed by regions committee for two years and will carry out projects as directed by the committee and the NDTA Board of Directors. Regions committee members keep in contact with the local contacts to update them on BOD news, to brainstorm regional ideas and activities, and to communicate volunteer opportunities. See the document below for more details about local contact opportunities. Upcoming courses in your area2012-03-13 Click on the light blue education tab (above right) for NDTA sponsored intro and advanced courses, seminars or conferences. Additionally, you can click the education tab on the region map to locate an NDTA sponsored course near you.
