WELCOME TO REGION 102010-01-24 HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME TO 2010!
2010 promises to be a continued year of activities, opportunities and exciting conferences filled with NDT principles and treatment techniques. I hope to bring to each and every one of you the support and resources you need to increase your treatment “bag of tricks” and grow professionally. Please call with your questions, concerns and ideas. They are always welcome.
If anyone is interested in becoming more involved with NDTA, being a Region’s Co-Chair is the perfect way to help out. With over 350 members in Region 10, we want to continue to support and encourage our members. “Four hands are better than two.”
We are continuing with the 100 City Initiative and are compiling a list of Local Contacts in Region 10. See below for responsibilities and let us know if you would like to help. I will be sending out an e-mail to those that have volunteered so far so your name can be added to the list. Thanks for your support!
Here are some NDTA updates:
Annual membership Meeting:
NDTA is harnessing the power of the Internet to connect you more closely to your association. Traditionally, our annual membership meetings have been presented at the NDTA National Conferences, where only a small percentage of members were present. This year, the NDTA will host the annual membership meeting in a new online format that can be accessed by the entire membership through a web link on the NDTA home page. Please take advantage of this and join us now.
NDT Certification is here!
Many of you who have taken the basic eight week pediatric and three week adult hemiplegia courses have received certificates of course completion, and have now requested a certification process. As an organization, NDTA too believes that we must recognize the level of competence required for the successful completion of these courses through a new formal certification process. Please click on the certification button on the right side of the NDTA home page for more information on becoming certified.
Annual Dues Lowered
Parents/Families/Caregivers annual dues have been lowered to just $25! We encourage you to spread the word! They’ll receive the member benefits of Lending Library, Member directory, and much more. Click on the Join NDTA link on the home page of www.ndta.org to get started.
Please do not hesitate to call/e-mail if you have a question, request or let us know how we can assist you in your NDT professional development.

STUDY GROUPS2010-01-24 Study Groups continue to be a great way to meet other professionals in your area and further your study, treatment and practice of NDT principles and theory.
We would like to establish a contact list of study groups and place them in this website for other members to be able to contact and join. We need the name of the member in charge, their phone or e-mail for contact, their state and location and when the groups are meeting and the focus of the group if available.
If you are interested in starting a study group, there is a Study Group Guide available.
