Course Description:

This 5 day Advanced Course will be held in conjunction with an Intensive Therapy Camp sponsored by Partners For Progress Inc. Participants will have the opportunity to experience an intensive model of treatment while developing and executing a treatment plan with specific functional outcomes linked to participation. Participants will receive Individualized mentoring and direct supervision from a team of NDT Instructors and Partners For Progress therapy staff who are NDT Certified and have extensive experience with the intensive model, while providing a minimum of 4 hours of daily treatment to one or two children as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Group problem solving and lab experiences specifically designed to meet the individual needs of the participants will be included and supplemented with patient demonstrations. Working in an intensive model, participants will have the opportunity to utilize Goal Attainment Scaling for tracking and documenting change in clients, while also expanding their skills in developing specific home carryover strategies, and providing education to family members/caregivers.

Participants:
